The Strategic Planner is responsible for developing insightful, data-driven, and culturally relevant strategies that guide creative, media, and communication solutions. This role bridges business objectives, consumer insights, and brand storytelling to create effective marketing strategies across digital and integrated channels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
Develop brand, communication, and campaign strategies aligned with client business objectives
Translate complex business challenges into clear strategic directions
Define target audiences, consumer journeys, and key messages
Develop strategic frameworks, channel roles, and full-funnel approaches
Consumer & Market Insights
Conduct market research, consumer analysis, and competitive audits
Analyze data from multiple sources (social listening, media performance, research reports)
Identify cultural, behavioral, and category trends
Turn insights into compelling strategic narratives
Creative & Media Collaboration
Work closely with Creative, Media, and Account teams to inspire and guide executions
Write clear and inspiring creative briefs
Review creative ideas to ensure strategic alignment
Support media and content strategy development
Client & Internal Communication
Present strategic thinking and recommendations to clients
Support pitches and new business development
Educate internal teams on strategic direction and insights
